The AWSL/AWSP Culture Kickoff Award celebrates schools that start the year with energy, intentionality, and a focus on positive school culture.
This award recognizes schools that:
- Launch the year with engaging assemblies, themes, and fall kickoff events.
- Intentionally set the tone for belonging, community, and success.
- Sustain that positive culture throughout the year by fostering collaboration between students and adults.
Who can nominate?
Nominations are now open for students, principals, and assistant principals who are making a powerful impact in their school communities.
We’re looking for schools and individuals who go beyond the expected—who foster welcoming, inclusive, and thriving learning environments where both students and staff flourish.
To be considered as a Culture Kick-Off winner, schools must have both an active AWSP and AWSL membership.
