AWSP and WASA are thrilled to bring you our 43rd annual Summer Conference for educational leaders on June 22-24, 2025 in Spokane! Join principals, assistant principals, superintendents, central office staff, teacher leaders, and partners in education for a conference focused on "Leadership for a New Era."
Call for Presenters
The call for presenters is now open. This is your chance to shine at an event designed specifically for those who are passionate about shaping the future of education. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to contribute to the conversation and make a difference in the education community. Sessions are fifty (50) minutes each and should engage participants in meaningful discussions and share viable experiences resulting in individual growth and/or systems improvement. If you’ve successfully tackled challenges or have innovative strategies in these areas, we want to hear from you!

Session Topics and Strands
Sessions should address one or more topics:
- Collaborative Cultures: Building Strong School Communities and Partnerships
- Technology Leadership in Education: Leveraging Digital Tools to Enhance Teaching, Learning, and Leadership
- Building Resilient Schools: Leadership Strategies for Overcoming Adversity
- Culturally Responsive Leadership: Promoting Equity and Inclusion
- Leading with Impact: Driving School Improvement through Strategic Leadership
- Transformative Leadership: Adapting to Change and Preparing for the Future
Technology, App, and Materials
The conference will provide the following:
• Projector and projection screen
• One handheld mic per breakout room
• Sound from laptop
• Tech support
Please bring your laptop and any other items needed to support your presentation.
Materials: Any session materials are due by June 5, 2025 and will be uploaded to the app for attendee access. (Presenters may also provide hard-copy handouts as desired.)
Proposal Notifications & Conference Registration
Notifications: Notifications will be delivered via email the week of February 15, 2025.
Registration: Presenters are encouraged to register and participate in the conference; however, presenters coming solely to present their session do not need to register. Regretfully, due to budget restrictions, we are not able to offer compensation to our presenters.
Conference registration opens in January 2025. Watch for details!
