Encouraging student leadership helps build confidence, responsibility, and a positive school culture. Back in February during AWSP's Member Engagement Month, we invited our members to recognize and celebrate the young leaders in their schools with our You're an Outstanding Leader certificate.
Lakeside High School Assistant Principal Kaysha Reinhart shared several pictures of their outstanding student leaders who were recognized by their staff. Kaysha says they hosted a special lunch where each student received a letter from the staff member who acknowledged their leadership and impact. Way to go students, and way to go, Kaysha and team!
